I bring this up because I just saw an article for a new movie Ralph Fiennes is directing and starring in and they referred to him as “Voldemort Actor” in the headline and it’s like, after Schindler’s List and The English Patient and In Bruges, I really think we’re doing him a disservice to brand him with a performance wherein he interpreted the role of the most evil wizard of all time as “insufferable mall goth”
