The National - Slipped
I don’t want you to grieve
But I want you to sympathize all right
I can’t blame you for losing
Your mind for a little while, so did I
I don’t want you to change
But I want you to recognize that I
It’ll be easy to cover
Gather your skeletons far inside
It’ll be summer in Dallas
Before you realize
That I’ll never be
Anything you ever want me to be
I keep coming back here where everything…slipped
But I will not spill my guts out

“The Fault in our Death Stars”
So I had this idea ages ago, but I never really got started on it.
Earlier this month, I finally did and it turned out great! :D
So I’m saving this graphic for May 4th, but now I find out #thefaultinourdeathstars is already a thing?!?Oh well. I guess there’s little point in keeping it from you, then…
Anyway, I was on a roll, so this also happened:
does anybody else think aaron harang looks like he’s been awake his entire life?

Ray Manzarek, the keyboardist for The Doors, has died.
Here is an interview we did with him in 2006.

So bummed out. I was supposed to go see him and Robby Krieger at the Fillmore last summer and couldn’t make it. Figured there’d be time this year. Guess not. Miss you, Ray.
why do women’s clothing designers believe that girls do not need pockets
It’s so they can sell us bags
flower language has always been an intense source of disappointment for me
like, they all mean really generic things like “love” or “forever” or “i’m sorry”
i thought you could combine flowers
like you could just send someone a bouquet and from the combination of hibiscus and posies and tulips they’d understand “the rebel leader is dead, rendezvous at the docks at 8, bring the dog, you will need lighter fluid and a large tomato”
